Overview of Raising Jake Studios Pristine Peaks IE para macOS
Pristine Peaks IE is a streamlined version of our stereo Pristine Peaks limiter that has been enhanced and optimized for multi-channel surround and “immersive audio” applications. On top of that, Pristine Peaks IE, like Pristine Peaks, is an ultra-low distortion peak limiter for mixing and mastering applications requiring transparent peak control.
Pristine Peaks IE can support up to 12 channels of audio for use on mono up to 7.1.4 channel-based audio tracks and buses. Each channel can be level-trimmed +/-5dB pre-limiter while their peaks can be trimmed by as much as 10dB below the master Ceiling setting.
It uses a novel approach to dynamics control that produces a very “clean” sound that does not break up or distort even at high gain reduction amounts. Instead of saturating or clipping waveform peaks, Pristine Peaks IE determines what needs to be done to control the peaks and applies that gain change to the entire waveform.
